The Space Control is used to improve the appearance of a Page by inserting whitespace above, below, beside, or between Fields.
The Field isn't directly visible to the agent.
This Control is part of the Basic Control pack, and will always be available.
How To
Add a Space to the Page. The options can be configured in the Options tab of the Field Properties.
Space Fields can be styled in a Stylesheet by referencing the control-space class.
The Space Control has two unique options available in its Options tab:
Option
Description
Height
The height, in pixels, of the whitespace to be added. Must have "px" after the number.
Width
The width, in pixels, of the whitespace to be added. Must have "px" after the number.
Notes
If suppressed, a Space won't apply its whitespace effect to the Page. This can be used to alter the spacing or positioning of certain Fields on a Page by suppressing or showing a Space at various points.
