Every Field can be customised to a greater or lesser extent, and this customisation takes place within the Field Properties modal.

 

The Field Properties modal can be reached in one of two ways: either double-click on the Field's header bar directly, or click the Edit button on the header bar:

 

 

 

The Field Properties modal has a number of tabs along its top, each of which will contains a different aspect of the Field's configuration options. Different Control types offer different tabs and different options within those tabs, but all Control types use the same pool of tabs and many shared options.
