Services Section

 
The Services Section allows Users to install and manage Services within Agent Guidance.
 
Important: if running a redundant Agent Guidance System with multiple websites, then the collective Services for the entire System can be managed from any website. Any changes to configuration or starting/stopping the Services will be promptly propagated through the entire System.
 
Name
Description
Establishes and brokers communication between the Cloud API and Agent Guidance systems.
Service that submits usage data via Cloud API for licensing and billing purposes.
Responsible for the sending of emails from Agent Guidance.
Component to serve collection details to the agent for transfer and other actions.
Service to poll the PureEngage servers for campaign and field information to use in External Links.
Executes Report Schedules at the required times, and orchestrates their delivery.
Responsible for the sending of simple messages from Agent Guidance.
Polls the linked Social Media APIs for any configured Connectors to populate the Social Dashboard.
Performs various maintenance and housekeeping tasks against Agent Guidance.
Perform automatic cleanup routines on old Workflows Versions.
Sets a Workflow live at a designated date/time.
 
 

How To

Select a Service from the list on the left side of the screen. Information and any configuration options for the Service will then be displayed, as well as the ability to start/stop the Service.

Search

Filter the Service list by name.

Selected Service

The currently selected Service will be highlighted.

Service Status

Services display an icon indicating whether the Service is running normally (green arrow), unhealthy (orange warning triangle), or stopped (white square).

The name of the currently selected Service.

ID

The ID of the currently selected Service.

Version

The version of the currently selected Service.

Description

A description of the currently selected Service.

Active

8. Active
 
Allows activating or deactivating the currently selected Service. When this is altered, it will automatically and promptly propagate the new state to any other website Instances within the Agent Guidance System.
 
If the Service is currently active, then a restart button will also be present next to the Active toggle.

Logs

9. Logs
 
If any errors have been recently logged by the currently selected Service, they will be displayed in a panel here. Logs can be cleared from the list by clicking the x at the right-hand side.

Settings

10. Settings
 
If the currently selected Service has any settings, they will be displayed in a panel here. Buttons at the bottom of the screen will allow any changes to be saved, or for all of the settings to be reset back to the default values.
