Navigation Basics

 
What you see when you first log in will depend on your User type:
 
Note that when your browser's focus is set to the Agent Guidance window and you're not currently running a Record, pressing CTRL+F will bring down the Agent Guidance Search window that allows you to instantly jump to a Workflow or Campaign.

Main Menu Toolbar

1. Main Menu Toolbar
 
The main menu toolbar appears at the top of every Agent Guidance screen. Depending on where you are in the application, a secondary toolbar may also be displayed.
 
Selecting the menu icon will display the main menu in full.

Section Menu

2. Section Menu
 
Displays the menu for the Section you are currently viewing. The example above shows the Users, Groups & Licences Module - the default homepage for Users assigned the System Manager licence part.
 
Expand or collapse a sub-menu
Add a Section item. In the example shown above, you could add a User or a Group.
Import item into the Section from an external source
 Refresh Agent Guidance licence data from the Licensing Service.

Tour

This button is displayed where a Tour is available for the current Module or Section to help new Users.

Search Agent Guidance

4. Search Agent Guidance
 
Search within the Agent Guidance application for the given text. See further detail in the Quick Access Panel description.

Set Home Page

5. Set Home Page
 
Set the current Section as your homepage. When the Home button is clicked, the User will return to the homepage marked using this button. If the marked homepage is no longer available, the User will be redirected to the Desktop.

Pin Main Menu Toolbar

6. Pin Main Menu Toolbar
 
Toggle the main menu toolbar between folded and expanded. When folded, the toolbar will appear as a contrasting ribbon at the top the screen. Hover your mouse over this and the toolbar will reappear until the mouse is moved off again.

User Settings

7. User Settings
 
Allows Users to change their personal settings, change their password (if they logged in with Forms Authentication), or log out (if they logged in with Forms Authentication or Single Sign On). See Your Settings for more details.
 
If the User logs out, they will automatically be logged out in all other tabs, browsers, or computers that they are connected to in the current Agent Guidance System as the same User.
