Updating Agent Guidance Licence
The Agent Guidance Application requires a valid Licence at the point of installation, either provided as an offline Licence file or as a Licence key if using the online licensing service. If any subsequent changes are made to the Licence, such as the addition of features, the extension of its expiry, or to raise the maximum upgrade version, then the Licence will need to be updated in the Agent Guidance Application to see the results of this Licence change.
In either case, you will need to have the System Manager licence part assigned to your user to make a change to the System's Licence, and also know the Licence key that was used for the Agent Guidance Application in question. If you can access the Agent Guidance Website, then the Licence key can be viewed in the
About Section.
If you cannot find your Licence key, please consult your Agent Guidance vendor.
System is Currently Licensed
If the system is currently licensed and accessible, then the following options are available.
If using a Licence file, then a new file will need to be downloaded from the
Agent Guidance Licence Retrieval website. Once this file has been downloaded, it can be imported by clicking the Import button in the
Licences Section of the
Users, Groups & Licences Module in the Agent Guidance Website. Once the Licence has been imported, it should be applied immediately to the Agent Guidance Application.
If the System's Licence has expired, then a screen like the below will be displayed whenever trying to access any part of the Agent Guidance website. In this case, once the System's Licence has been renewed then the new Licence will need to be applied by either clicking the Renew Licence button to utilise the online licensing service (if the system can communicate with the internet), or by downloading the Licence file from the
Agent Guidance Licence Retrieval website and then clicking the Upload New Licence button.
If you are unable to update your Licence, please consult your Agent Guidance vendor.
