The Agent Guidance Application can be used from a lower specification client environment, however there are additional requirements and considerations that must be observed.
If you wish to run the Agent Guidance website in this configuration, please consult your Agent Guidance vendor for additional advice.
Agent Guidance Application Configuration
Additional configuration of the options within Agent Guidance should be undertaken to reduce client-side load:
Avoid assigning any licence parts to staff in a low-resource environment where possible. These licence parts trigger additional tools to be loaded client-side when Workflows are executed.
As Agent Guidance is a dynamic content system, the Workflow must be designed to reduce the use of dynamic element changing (showing/hiding) and excessive in-Workflow JavaScript processing, as both of these place load on the client processing. Breaking large Pages into multiple smaller Pages should be favoured, and carefully structured and triggered JavaScript used.
Testing Workflows and real-time client resource usage in a realistic representation of the final Live environment during construction and testing is advised.
Agent Guidance Desktop
Any Desktop Tabs that have been specified should be reviewed to ensure they produce acceptable levels of load. The Social Dashboard has been carefully reviewed to reduce footprint, but should similarly be reviewed.
