During the process of installing Agent Guidance, a number of administration permissions will be required for each of the technology stack layers.
Webserver
The Windows user you run the Agent Guidance installer as must have local administrator rights on the webserver. This user is purely used to run the installer and deploy the Agent Guidance website, and is not used as part of the system's live running. The Windows user running the Agent Guidance installer must be on the same Active Directory domain as the webserver is registered (not just the same AD forest).
Microsoft SQL Server
During the installation, you must have SysAdmin rights to the desired Microsoft SQL Server server for the installer to deploy the SQL database. This access can either be through the Windows user the installer is run as, or via SQL forms (username and password) authentication provided during the install process. This SQL authentication is purely used to run the installer and deploy the Agent Guidance database, and is not used as part of the systems live running.
The SQL user carrying out the installation must have its date format (derived from its default language) match that of the Agent Guidance System localisation culture that will be selected during the installation process (Step 12).
Simple installations with a single website per webserver can be completed in a few minutes by following the Agent Guidance Install Wizard.
